چکیده

In a Rindler-type coordinate system spanned in a region outside of a black hole horizon, we have nonvanishing classical holographic charges as soft hairs on the horizon for stationary black holes. Taking a large black hole mass limit, the spacetimes with the charges are described by asymptotic Rindler metrics. We construct a general theory of gravitational holographic charges for a 1+3-dimensional linearized gravity field in the Minkowski background with Rindler horizons. Although matter crossing a Rindler horizon causes horizon deformation and a time-dependent coordinate shift, that is, gravitational memory, the supertranslation and superrotation charges on the horizon can be defined during and after its passage through the horizon. It is generally proven that holographic states on the horizon cannot store any information about absorbed perturbative gravitational waves. However , matter crossing the horizon really excites holographic states. By using gravitational memory operators, which consist of the holo-graphic charge operators, we suggest a resolution of the no-cloning paradox of quantum information between matter falling into the horizon and holographic charges on the horizon from the viewpoint of the contextuality of quantum measurement.

Superrotation charge and supertranslation hair on black holes

It is shown that black hole spacetimes in classical Einstein gravity are characterized by, in addition to their ADM mass M , momentum ~ P , angular momentum ~ J and boost charge ~ K, an infinite head of supertranslation hair. The distinct black holes are distinguished by classical superrotation charges measured at infinity. Solutions with supertranslation hair are diffeomorphic to the Schwarzsc...

Gravitational memory, BMS supertranslations and soft theorems

The transit of a gravitating radiation pulse past arrays of detectors stationed near future null infinity in the vacuum is considered. It is shown that the relative positions and clock times of the detectors before and after the radiation transit differ by a BMS supertranslation. An explicit expression for the supertranslation in terms of moments of the radiation energy flux is given. The relat...

Classical stability of black hole Cauchy horizons in two-dimensional asymptotically flat space-times

In this paper we analyse the stability of black hole Cauchy horizons arising in a class of 2d dilaton gravity models. It is shown that due to the characteristic asymptotic Rindler form of the metric of these models, time dependent gravitational perturbations generated in the external region do not necessarily blow up when propagated along the Cauchy horizon. There exists, in fact, a region of n...

Killing Horizons

QED in two-dimensional Minkowski space contains a single physical state as seen either by an inertial observer or by a constantly accelerating Rindler observer. However in Feynman gauge if one takes a generic representative of the physical Minkowski state and traces over all left Rindler states, one does not arrive at the physical right Rindler state, but rather at a “density matrix” with negat...

On the spectral shift and the time delay of light in a Rindler accelerated frame

We discuss two effects predicted by the general theory of relativity in the context of Rindler accelerated observers: the gravitational spectral shift and the time delay of light. We show that these effects also appear in a Rindler frame in the absence of gravitational field, in accordance with the Einstein’s equivalence principle.
